Sea Vegetables at the Sonoma Coast

On Thursday, June 13th , bright and early at low tide, we will meet at the Sonoma Coast to harvest sea vegetables. Naturalist Autumn Summers will be there to teach us about sea vegetables and the best way to harvest them. You will likely get a year’s supply of kombu, possibly nori and other delectable sea vegetables to eat, use in your bath or for enhancing your garden. Their minerals are essential and incredible.

You will want to wear rubber boots, water shoes or something else that can get wet. Bring a knife or scissors, plastic or mesh bags and/or baskets for collecting your “catch”.
